King room had cable channels, a writing table and ironing facilities, everything worked for us. 20 minutes walk from central Middlebury. This hotel offers shuttle too.
-
All in all, it was easy base for traveling to Middlebury. Besides, free Wi-Fi is a bonus.
-
Comfort of the large room, good bedding, rather silent air conditioning (rare in the USA), quiet hotel, welcoming staff.
hotel in a not very pretty commercial area, breakfast in addition to the Starbucks located in the hall, medium.
-
Would like to see a better food activity at the hotel.
Beds were very comfortable with good supply of towels.
-
Close to the town of Middlebury, VT. Hotel was in walking distance to food stores and a Rite Aid which came in very handy for us.
-
Spa did not have self timer and powerful jets. Breakfast was not included.

We have traveled a lot in the past week, getting the opportunity to stay in your hotel was truly a moment of rest and relaxation. So very accommodating and we'll appointed in every aspect right down to the perfect layout of the hotel. Functional, is a great word to describe the lay out- whoever designed it knew what a traveler would need next at every turn.
If I had to give one complaint it would be that when we ordered our coffee the barista had just started the cleaning process on the espresso maker so it took about 10 minutes to get our coffee.

The beds were comfortable, and the comforters were cozy. Cleanliness and spaciousness also a plus. Good towels, and plenty of them were appreciated. Pleasant decor in the rooms and the lobby area.
1. The closet! We've had this same problem at other Marriott's. The closet is so poorly designed that it doesn't serve its purpose--it's not usable for two people and even worse, it will be impossibly small for any winter coats. 2. There is not enough light in the room. We like at least one overhead light and the current lamps are distant from each other, and quite dim.

Nice staff, nice room.
Limited breakfast options, extra cost involved.

We have 10 month old twins, so we were looking for a clean, no frills hotel to stay at while visiting for a wedding. The staff was very helpful and patient.
Breakfast was a little expensive for what it was, but still good and convenient.
-
Breakfast should have been offered in the price of the room.
-
Clean property, well staffed, immaculate room and nice toiletries.
AC ran continuously all night, probably could use a recharge. For the price ($180 a night), I would expect a breakfast bar, alas they have a cafe with pay choices.
-
Clean well maintained rooms
paying for breakfast & coffee.

The apples in the lobby were good. The staff was efficient. The room was spacious, clean and attractive.
I was taken aback that you actually had to pay for a cup of coffee in the morning. I can't remember the last place I stayed that didn't offer complimentary coffee...especially at the rate we paid for this room. Do yourself a favor and get a $1 cup of Paul Newman's across the street at McDonalds. Mattress wasn't very comfortable and I lost hot water during my shower at 5:00 p.m.
